In Peru, Real Plaza malls organized the Intermalls TCG League, culminating in a national final on July 18 at the Infinity Gaming Center in Puruchuco, with a S/. 2,000 prize and official Pokémon merchandise for the champion.
Spain’s city of Pontevedra joined the global celebration for the game’s ten‑year anniversary, staging a public raid on the legendary Mewtwo across multiple city monuments.
Separately, Niantic announced the 2026 Ultrabonus “Festival Aquático” (August 18‑24), which will debut new Pokémon such as Cramorant, Arrokuda and Barraskewda and offer experience and stardust multipliers.
