Pokémon GO hosts Cosmog-style Pikachu event

Pokémon GO is currently hosting the ‘Pokémon XP & Pokémon World Championships 2026’ event. A major highlight of the event is the appearance of a Pikachu wearing a Cosmog-style outfit in ★1 Raid Battles. Due to the low difficulty of these raids, players are consuming large quantities of Raid Passes to attempt to encounter the special Pikachu or its shiny variant.

Additionally, players can complete field research tasks involving three GO Battle League battles to receive rewards such as Piplup, Rowlet, or Galarian Magikarp. The event is scheduled to run until August 30 at 20:00.
