Pokémon GO introduces Armored Mewtwo Tier 5 raids

Armored Mewtwo has returned as a Tier 5 legendary raid boss in Pokémon GO. This variant, inspired by the character's appearance in the first Pokémon movie, functions as a more defensive version of the original Mewtwo.

As a pure Psychic-type Pokémon, Armored Mewtwo is weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type moves. It receives a power boost during Windy weather. Players are advised that the raid is highly challenging, typically requiring groups of three to five high-level trainers to succeed.

Effective counters include Dawn Wings Necrozma, Shadow Darkrai, and Shadow Hydreigon. While players can catch Armored Mewtwo after a successful raid, it is noted that this specific variant cannot be shiny.
