Pokémon GO launches Pokémon Horizons themed event

Pokémon GO has launched the ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ event, running from September 16 until September 22, 2026. The event introduces the debut of Charmander wearing Friedel glasses, which can be evolved into Charmeleon and Charizard with the same themed attire.

Players can encounter these themed Pokémon through wild spawns, field research, raids, and Lure Modules. There is also a chance to encounter shiny versions or those with special backgrounds. Additionally, Pikachu wearing a captain’s hat is featured in 1-star raids, while 3-star raids include the themed Charmander line alongside Quaquaval, Krookodile, and Meowscarada.

Wild spawns are divided into two time cycles: from 05:00 to 17:00, players may encounter Pokémon such as Hoppip and Taillow, while from 17:00 to 05:00, Eevee, Espurr, and Skwovet are more common. The event also features an increased chance of finding Kecleon at PokéStops and various milestone bonuses via the in-game pass.
