Pokémon GO debuts Pikachu in orange Hanbok in South Korea

Niantic is hosting the ‘2026 Pikachu’s Autumn Outing’ event for Pokémon GO in South Korea, running from September 18 to October 11, 2026. The event features the debut of Pikachu wearing an orange Hanbok in the country.

Localized activities will take place in specific areas of Seoul, including Jongno-gu and Jung-gu, as well as the HiKR Station at Incheon International Airport. In these locations, players can encounter the themed Pikachu through 1-Star Raid Battles, Field Research, and Timed Research. Special event bonuses include extended Lure Module durations and themed map effects.

A nationwide event titled ‘2026 Pikachu’s Korea Trip’ will follow from September 24 to September 26. During this period, the themed Pikachu will appear in Raid Battles across South Korea, accompanied by doubled Pokémon Candy and Stardust rewards.
