Pokémon releases 22-minute music video featuring 1,025 Pokémon names

A 22-minute music video titled ‘Pokémon All Stars 1025’ has been released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The song, performed and produced by Masayoshi Oishi, features the names of all 1,025 Pokémon released from the original ‘Red and Green’ games to the latest ‘Scarlet and Violet’ series.

The music video utilizes a handmade scrapbook aesthetic, incorporating artwork from video games, anime, and trading cards to represent the history of the franchise. Oishi described the recording process as a marathon, noting that he chose to keep the raw audio of his voice crying at the moment he finished singing the final Pokémon, Mew, to convey the emotional weight of the achievement.

At a promotional event, guests including singer Masayoshi Oishi, model Anmika, and actor Yusei Yagi discussed their personal connections to the series. Yagi shared his fondness for the Pokémon Misdreavus and his habit of visiting local Pokémon Centers during regional tours, while Anmika expressed an affinity for Ditto.
