Pokémon to release new social deduction board game in November

The Pokémon Company and YOKA Games are set to release a new social deduction board game titled ‘Are You a Team Rocket Member?’ on November 12, 2026. Designed for 4 to 6 players, the game combines Pokémon battles with hidden identity mechanics.

Players assume specific roles, including Gym Leader, Gym Trainer, Challenger, or Team Rocket member, each with unique victory conditions. While the Gym Leader's identity is public, other players must hide their true roles and use cards to battle or support others while attempting to deduce the identities of their opponents.

The game features specialized ‘Play Cards’ such as ‘Attack!’ and ‘Dodge!’, allowing players to mimic iconic Pokémon battle commands. A promotional TV commercial features voice actors Megumi Hayashibara, Shin-ichiro Miki, and Inuko Inuyama. The game will be available at Pokémon Centers, online stores, and various retailers for 2,200 yen. An early sale will take place at Game Market 2026 Autumn in October.
