Pokémon UNITE Marks 5th Anniversary as Fans Discover Unreleased Delibird Evolution

Pokémon UNITE celebrates its fifth anniversary beginning on 21 July 2026. The milestone brings new in‑game Pokémon, holiday‑themed events, special items and a customisation system called “Holowear”. A commemorative video was also released to highlight the occasion.

Separately, Game Freak’s early‑generation archives, made public by collector Neos, reveal a never‑used evolution of the Pokémon Delibird. The design depicts a larger, more elaborate “Santa‑bird” form while retaining the iconic gift‑bag motif. The archive also contains sketches of other early‑generation Pokémon, but there are currently no plans to introduce the Delibird evolution in upcoming games.
