Pokémon Winds & Waves tops Famitsu’s most wanted games list

According to the latest reader poll by the Japanese magazine Famitsu, ‘Pokémon Winds & Waves’ is the most anticipated game among Japanese gamers. The title secured the top spot with 588 votes.

The top ten most wanted games reflect a strong interest in upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives, which occupy five of the top ten positions. Following Pokémon, the most anticipated titles include ‘Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave’ and ‘Persona 4 Revival’. ‘Zelda: Ocarina of Time’ also ranks highly in third place.

Other notable entries in the top ten include ‘Persona 6’, ‘Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World’, ‘Final Fantasy 7 Revelation’, ‘Xenoblade Genesis’, ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’, and ‘Onimusha: Way of the Sword’. The list shows a split between Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 titles.
