Poland: Activism regarding child protection and abortion rights

In Poland, new initiatives and public appeals are addressing social rights and safety. The Foundation Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę has launched the ‘Dzieciństwo bez Przemocy’ (Childhood Without Violence) campaign. The initiative encourages the signing of a manifesto to oppose physical, mental, and sexual violence against children, promoting respectful upbringing methods and increased education to ensure child safety.

Separately, actress Julia Kamińska has issued a public appeal regarding abortion rights following a speech at the See Blogers festival in Łódź. Kamińska criticized the government for failing to fulfill election promises regarding reproductive rights and called for participation in protests titled ‘Czerwona kartka za aborcję’ (Red Card for Abortion), scheduled to take place in various Polish cities on October 22.
