Polish towns Boguchwała and Gdynia open new public parks

The Gmina Boguchwała announced a tender to build a modern recreational park on the Gaj housing estate. The project will include paved walking and cycling paths, a sand‑surface playground, an outdoor fitness area, a dog run, LED lighting, a monitoring system of 16 cameras, and extensive new plantings. The tender deadline is 13 July 2026.

In Gdynia, a multi‑generational sports and play area on Podgórska Street has been completed after being selected through the city’s participatory budget. The space features swings, a trampoline, a carousel, a car‑shaped play set, a sandpit, a solar‑powered lighting system, and an outdoor gym equipped with an elliptical, a treadmill, and a rowing machine. The project cost 445 580.60 zł and was built by Green Poland. City officials highlighted the new area’s role in fostering community interaction among children, parents and seniors.
