Poland adjusts funding for CPK and Sanok educational center
The Polish government is adjusting funding for major infrastructure and social projects. For the Central Communication Port (CPK), the government plenipotentiary Piotr Malepszak has requested 7.422 billion PLN from the Ministry of Finance for 2026. This is significantly lower than the 10.94 billion PLN originally planned in the 2024 program, representing a reduction of over 3 billion PLN. This change follows a proposed amendment to the CPK program and reflects a shift in the investment's budgetary framework.
In Sanok, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy has approved nearly 42 million PLN for the second stage of constructing a Special Educational and Care Center (SOSW). This investment aims to provide a modern facility for over 300 children with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other developmental disorders. The second phase, which includes finishing works, site development, and sports fields, is scheduled for completion in 2028.
