Poland advances bike‑path projects in Dąbrowa Tarnowska and Bydgoszcz regions

A contract was signed to construct a nearly 900‑meter bicycle path in Radgoszcz, linking Dąbrowa Tarnowska with Narożniki. The project, valued at over 700,000 PLN and part of a larger 3 million‑PLN scheme to create almost 200 km of bike routes in the Dąbrowa County, is funded largely by EU monies (about 2.5 million PLN).

Meanwhile, the Bydgoszcz metropolitan area announced a series of tenders to build missing sections of its bike‑road network, connecting the city with the neighbouring gminas of Osielsko, Dobrcz, Sicienko and Fordon. Planned works include a kilometre‑long lane on Wyzwolenia Street, pedestrian‑cyclist paths, lighting, drainage and signage, all financed by European funds. These additions will extend the existing network, which already exceeds 140 km, by another 40 km of new routes.
