Poland advances infrastructure with new sidewalk and cycling route projects

Infrastructure development projects are underway in Poland, focusing on pedestrian safety and cycling networks. In Gęsice, the Powiatowy Zarząd Drogowy w Oławie has been tasked with constructing a 300-meter sidewalk along county road 1942D. The project, resulting from cooperation between the Domaniów municipality and Oława county, includes modernizing five private driveway entrances to improve safety by separating pedestrian traffic from vehicles.

In the Łódź Voivodeship, a tender has been launched to develop a programmatic concept for the Velo Warta cycling route. The project covers 236 kilometers along the Warta River and will include technical solutions, environmental analyses, and geological studies. The concept aims to establish a functional program to guide future construction stages, including the placement of rest areas, bicycle stands, and 3D visualizations of key locations.
