Poland advances major hospital and tram infrastructure upgrades
In Kutno, the municipal hospital is undergoing a comprehensive thermomodernisation worth about 26.7 million zł. The project, carried out by STRABAG Sp. z o.o., includes replacing over 1,100 windows, extensive insulation, and other energy‑efficiency measures that will lower heating costs and improve conditions for patients and staff. Funding comes from the Government Fund Poland Deal – Strategic Investment Programme.
In Gdańsk, the Hucisko transport hub is entering its final reconstruction phase. New rail tracks and a modern tram power‑supply network are being installed, with work scheduled to finish by 15 August. Temporary traffic arrangements remain in place for drivers, while the upgrades aim to enhance tram service for thousands of daily commuters.
