Poland advances major tourism infrastructure projects in Szczyrk and Mazury

The town of Szczyrk in southern Poland will undergo a 6.6 million‑złotys revitalisation of its centre, financed largely by the European Union. The plan includes a new saline‑water spring, a green promenade along the Żylica stream, upgraded public squares and leisure zones, with construction slated to start in autumn and the main works scheduled for spring and summer 2027.

In northern Mazury, the Vista Mikołajki resort is expanding with a 5‑star hotel, 97 new apartments and a private marina capable of accommodating 119 yachts on the shore of Lake Mikołajskie. Built on a 32‑hectare site adjacent to the Mazury Landscape Park, the development also features sports facilities, a swimming pool complex and year‑round holiday homes, aiming to attract tourists seeking alternatives to coastal destinations.
