Poland agricultural land prices rise to average 72,682 PLN per hectare

New data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) shows a continuous rise in average agricultural land prices in Poland. The national average for arable land has increased from 69,752 PLN to 72,682 PLN per hectare, representing a growth of 2,930 PLN per hectare.

Price increases vary significantly by soil quality and region. For medium-quality soils (classes IIIb and IV), the average price rose to 74,439 PLN per hectare. High-quality soils (classes I, II, and IIIa) reached an average of 85,858 PLN per hectare. Even low-quality lands (classes V and VI) saw an increase, reaching an average of 59,477 PLN per hectare.

Regional trends show that the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodeship experienced the largest monetary increase, rising by 6,734 PLN per hectare. Opole voivodeship saw the highest percentage growth at nearly 9 percent. In terms of low-quality land, Wielkopolska remains the most expensive region at 80,775 PLN per hectare, while Zachodniopomorskie is the cheapest at approximately 35,000 PLN per hectare.

These updated indicators, published by ARiMR, will be applied to preferential loans starting September 15, 2026.
