Poland announces 2026 social benefit and agricultural subsidy schedules
New social benefit and agricultural subsidy schedules have been announced for 2026 in Poland.
In the municipality of Michałowice, residents can apply for family allowances and alimony fund benefits starting August 1, 2026. Applications can be submitted via paper forms or electronically through the Emp@tia portal and e-Doręczenia. The income criterion for family allowances is set at 674 PLN per person, increasing to 764 PLN for families with a disabled child. For alimony fund benefits, the income threshold will be set at 1,665 PLN per person starting in October 2026. A ‘zloty for zloty’ rule will be applied to protect beneficiaries from losing all support due to minor income increases.
Additionally, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has updated its schedule for funding under the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023–2027. Starting in September 2026, several application windows will open, including investments to prevent the spread of African Swine Fever (ASF), livestock insurance premium subsidies, and support for renewable energy and energy efficiency in farms. Other programs include development for producer organizations, beekeeping interventions, and ‘Smart Village’ concept funding.
