Poland announces social integration and student innovation programs

In Poland, two distinct social and educational initiatives have been announced. The Foundation for Innovation in Education, alongside the National Training and Advisory Institute, is launching the ‘New Opportunities’ project in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Funded by the European Social Fund Plus, the program aims to improve the socio-economic status of third-country nationals, specifically targeting refugees under temporary protection following the Russian aggression against Ukraine. The project, running from June 2026 to May 2027, provides individualized training and advisory support to 32 participants, with a focus on women and unemployed individuals.

Separately, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education has opened applications for the 7th edition of the ‘Student Scientific Circles Create Innovations’ program. This initiative supports student research, technology development, and the commercialization of new solutions. At the Bialystok University of Technology, student scientific circles can apply for funding of up to 70,000 PLN, with a local application deadline set for October 16, 2026.
