Poland appoints Aleksandra Walenda as Noizz.pl chief editor and Maciej Cnota to defence ministry media unit

Aleksandra Walenda, formerly a client partner at Dentsu Creative with prior experience at TVN Media/TVN Discovery and Isobar, has taken over as editor‑in‑chief of the digital news portal Noizz.pl, which is owned by Ringier Axel Springer Polska. She succeeds Maciej Wernio, who joined Noizz.pl in December 2015 and served as editor‑in‑chief from September 2024.

In a separate appointment, former TVN24 journalist Maciej Cnota has been named head of the media‑monitoring department at Poland’s Ministry of National Defence after winning a competitive selection process.
