Poland authorities urge proper waste disposal to prevent illegal dumping

Local authorities in Poland are emphasizing proper waste disposal methods to prevent illegal dumping and ensure environmental safety. In Krzyżanowice, officials reported illegal waste, including mattresses, baby seats, and bicycles, being left near clothing donation containers. Residents are reminded that these containers are strictly for clean, reusable textiles, and that construction or bulky waste must be taken to a Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point (PSZOK), such as the one in Zabełków.

In Warsaw, residents can utilize five specific PSZOK locations across districts like Wola, Bielany, Mokotów, and Białołęka to dispose of rubble, ceramics, paints, and electronics free of charge. Additionally, mobile collection points are available in various districts to assist with waste management. Proper segregation is encouraged to avoid additional cleanup fees for municipalities and to ensure materials are processed safely.
