Poland boosts local health care with modern clinics in Łódź and home hospice project in Myślenice

The city of Łódź continues expanding its health‑care system by opening new modern outpatient clinics, upgrading hospital facilities and purchasing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Residents now have access to rehabilitation programs without a referral, and the city collaborates with NGOs such as the Association of the Seeing More to improve preventive care and child health services.

In the Myślenice municipality, the town council approved a Zintegrowany Plan Inwestycyjny (ZPI) that rezones land in Osieczany‑Dąbrowa for a home hospice and a medical‑equipment rental centre. The hospice, which already cares for 147 patients, will serve as a storage hub for rehabilitation beds and other devices, and is expected to generate higher property‑tax revenue compared with residential development. The project received unanimous council support and will proceed to urban‑contract negotiations.
