Poland celebrates National Independence Day with regional events

Various regions across Poland are organizing diverse events to commemorate National Independence Day on November 11. In Poznań, the Teatr Wielki will host a Marshal's Concert featuring a ballet performance dedicated to choreographer Conrad Drzewiecki, with tickets available for a symbolic one zloty.

Local municipalities are hosting community-focused celebrations. Lipinki will hold its first official ceremonies, including the unveiling of an Independence Monument. Racibórz has planned a historical picnic on its market square featuring military uniform displays and historical reenactments, while Przecław will host folk music and dance performances. In the Łososina Dolna region, a youth football tournament titled the Independence Tournament will take place.

Cultural and artistic programs are also widespread. The Perform[ing] Poland review will showcase contemporary performance art in Poznań, and Szczecin will host a sound art performance by Moe Nagasi exploring the relationship between technology and sound. Additionally, educational initiatives in Kraków and Ropczyce continue to focus on art history and regional folk traditions.
