Poland conducts large‑scale military and emergency training drills in Lipowa and Lipie

The Polish Armed Forces will carry out parachute‑descent and helicopter training in the municipality of Lipowa from 22‑26 June and again from 29 June‑3 July 2026. The exercises involve airborne jumps and low‑flying helicopters, with the local council warning residents about increased noise and urging caution in the area.

Separately, the Gmina Lipie in Kłobuck County hosted a multi‑agency crisis drill dubbed “SZACHOWNICA 2026”. Police, state fire services, volunteer fire brigades and forest guards practiced large‑scale search‑and‑rescue operations using drones and quad‑bikes, followed by a CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) scenario that simulated locating a radioactive source. The exercise was overseen by Police Sub‑Commissioner Anna Duda and involved specialized CBRN response teams.
