Poland conducts National Family Training for crisis preparedness
Across various regions in Poland, including Jędrzejów, Ząbkowice Śląskie, Gliwice, Sanok, and Busko-Zdrój, authorities have conducted the National Family Training. This initiative aims to increase public awareness and preparedness for crisis situations, such as air threats, natural disasters, or security emergencies.
Educational sessions led by police and fire departments focused on practical skills, including recognizing alarm signals, creating family safety plans, and understanding the '4U' rule: Watch (observe surroundings), Run (leave the danger zone), Hide (find shelter), and Defend (as a last resort). Participants also learned about preparing emergency kits and identifying disinformation.
In addition to these community drills, specialized training was provided to educational institutions to prepare schools for potential threats, including the possibility of unauthorized intruders or dangerous substances on premises.
