Poland prepares for All Saints' Day logistics and spending

As All Saints' Day approaches, various regions in Poland are implementing logistical measures to manage increased movement. Public transport authorities in cities like Opole, Elbląg, Katowice, and Kraków are introducing special bus and tram lines, increased frequencies, and free travel options to facilitate cemetery visits and mitigate traffic congestion.

Road safety and transport regulations are also being adjusted. Heavy truck traffic restrictions will be in effect on October 31 and November 1 for vehicles exceeding 12 tons. Additionally, meteorologists warn of changing weather conditions, advising drivers to consider winter tires as temperatures drop.

Economic preparations are also underway. A Santander Consumer Bank study indicates that many Poles plan to spend between 200 and 1,000 PLN on candles, flowers, and travel. Meanwhile, retail sectors are launching promotions, such as discounts on chrysanthemums, to meet seasonal demand.
