Supreme Court judge Andrzej Michałowicz detained in Słupsk

Supreme Court judge Andrzej Michałowicz was involved in an incident at the Słupsk railway station on Thursday, October 8. According to reports, a train manager requested police intervention after observing a passenger who appeared to be intoxicated and was having difficulty communicating.

Upon the arrival of the police, the individual was found to have sustained facial injuries, reportedly from falling while disembarking from a train. Reports indicate the man had a blood alcohol content of 4.3 per mille. He was subsequently transported to the Hospital Emergency Ward (SOR) in Słupsk.

At the time of the intervention, officers were reportedly unaware of the man's identity as a Supreme Court judge, as he did not present official identification. Hospital staff learned of his professional status through his wife. Michałowicz, who serves in the Criminal Chamber, has held his position since July 2026.
