Poland emergency services respond to various incidents and Warsaw warehouse fire

Emergency services in Poland responded to various incidents between September 21 and September 27, 2026. In the West Pomeranian region, reports included several fallen trees blocking roads, wasp and hornet infestations in residential buildings and parks, and a fire at a carpentry workshop in Krzywin.

In Warsaw, a significant fire broke out on Saturday afternoon at a hall on Płochocińska Street in the Białołęka district. The facility, measuring 135 by 35 meters, contained waste materials that caught fire. Over a dozen firefighting units, including specialized chemical and ecological rescue groups, were deployed to manage the blaze and monitor air quality. The structure of the hall remained undamaged, and no injuries were reported.
