Poland expands free mobile mammography service to Kutno and Łódź
A mobile mammography unit operated by LUX MED Diagnostyka will visit Kutno on 3 August, offering free breast‑cancer screening to women aged 45–74 under the National Health Fund program. The service will be stationed near the Kaufland market from 10:00 to 16:00, with registration by phone or online.
In Łódź, the same mobile unit will operate at several city locations throughout July, including Zbaraska 10 (14 July) and Sterlinga 16/18 (17 July), among others. Appointments must be booked in advance via the listed phone numbers, and the screenings run from 9:00 to 17:00. Both initiatives aim to increase early detection of breast cancer by providing convenient, no‑referral examinations for eligible women.
