The Wyższa Szkoła Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego i Indywidualnego “Apeiron” in Kraków and Wrocław offers a hybrid degree programme in internal security for members of uniformed services such as the police, border guard and prison service. The curriculum combines online lectures with limited on‑site sessions, allowing active officers to acquire bachelor’s and master’s qualifications necessary for promotion to officer or managerial ranks.

At the same time, the Specialist Chemical‑Ecological Rescue Group (JRG‑1) in Piła has built a modern training simulator that reproduces real‑world chemical spill scenarios. Designed by senior aspirant Radosław Meller, the device lets firefighters practice rapid decision‑making on leaks of various diameters, improving precision and speed in hazardous‑material response.
