Poland expands regional tourism with new boat routes from Szczecin and free train trips in Łódź
Starting on 4 August, the vessel Sedina will add Tuesday sailings on its Szczecin‑Gartz route across the Lower Odra Valley. The extra trips, scheduled for 4, 11, 18 and 25 August, respond to rapid ticket sales for the existing Thursday and weekend cruises. Round‑trip fares are 120 zł for adults, with discounts for children and seniors, and tickets go on sale on 30 July.
On 1 August, Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna will run a special, free train from Łódź Kaliska to Działoszyn. Passengers will visit Załęczański Landscape Park, explore local caves, see a historic palace and church, and finish the day with an open‑air concert in Działoszyn. Registration opens on 29 July, and places are limited.
