Poland faces demographic shifts toward a longevity-based society

Sociologist Mariola Racław discusses the challenges of Poland transitioning into a longevity-based society. As birth rates decline and the elderly population increases, new family structures are emerging, requiring a shift in how society organizes itself to view aging as a social reality rather than a crisis.

Racław notes that while various efforts have been made to slow the aging trend, demographic data shows these actions have not yet been effective in reversing the current trajectory of the population.
