Poland faces rising financial pessimism and investment gender gaps
Recent data highlights growing financial concerns and gender disparities in investment within Poland. A survey by Ogólnopolska Grupa Badawcza indicates that 33.8% of Poles fear their personal financial situation will worsen over the next three months, a significant increase of 10.5 percentage points from August. This decline in sentiment is particularly notable in rural areas, where 40.6% of respondents anticipate a worsening situation.
Simultaneously, an analysis by Mzuri Investments reveals a substantial gender gap in real estate and crowd fund investing. Among owners of rental properties managed by Mzuri, women represent only 25% of the group. This disparity is even more pronounced in capital participation, where women account for only 14% of the total capital invested. The report suggests that the gender pay gap, which stands at 20% in Poland according to GUS, contributes to women investing less frequently and with lower capital amounts compared to men.
