Poland: Farmers face September 15 deadline to correct subsidy declarations
Polish farmers have until September 15 to correct declarations regarding direct and area payments to avoid potential reductions in subsidies. The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) uses satellite-based area monitoring to verify crop declarations.
In the eWniosekPlus system, farmers can identify discrepancies via color-coded maps: green indicates correct declarations, yellow suggests unconfirmed data or different crop species, and red indicates that the system did not recognize the declared activity at all. To resolve these issues, farmers may need to provide two to five geotagged photographs of the field, the crop stand, and specific plant characteristics to prove the accuracy of their claims.
Additionally, those participating in the ‘Biological Cultivation’ eco-scheme must submit required documentation by the deadline. This includes proof of purchase for microbiological plant protection products or fertilizers, as well as a register of agrotechnical treatments, which can be maintained in either paper or electronic format.
