Poland finishes fourth at European Women's Volleyball Championship

Following the conclusion of the European Women's Volleyball Championship, experts Jakub Bednaruk and Marek Magiera analyzed the performance of the Polish national team. Despite a group stage victory over the eventual champions, Turkey, Poland finished in fourth place after losing the bronze medal match to Serbia.

Analysts noted that Turkey and Italy currently remain ahead of the rest of the continent, with Serbia identified as the team most likely to challenge them. Bednaruk characterized Poland's fourth-place finish as being in the ‘second tier’ of European volleyball, a result he described as predictable given the current competitive landscape.

Marek Magiera also shared a personal reflection regarding the tournament, noting the emotional significance of commenting on the matches following the passing of his brother, Jacek. He expressed gratitude to the players for the opportunity to broadcast their journey through the championship.
