Poland funds modern youth centers in Bratkowice and Węgliniec

The municipal Social Assistance Centre in Świlcza launched the "Space for Youth" project to create a Daily Support Facility in Bratkowice. The new Youth Club will provide 20 places for young people aged 10‑15, fully accessible for persons with disabilities, and will operate from July 2026 until December 2028. The programme, costing 1,853,245.80 zł (about 1,760,583.51 zł from EU funds), will offer tutoring, extracurricular activities and psychological support, including 72 hours of individual counselling.

In Węgliniec, the town and municipality hosted workshops for the "Very Young Culture 2026‑2028" programme, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage. The event brought together local partners, municipal officials and cultural organisations to discuss local diagnostics as a basis for planning youth initiatives, and included visits to the town’s railway station and historic gallery. Both projects aim to activate and support young residents through education, culture and community engagement.
