Poland funds new cardiology equipment in Rabka and €15 M renovation of Rybnik’s historic hospital

The Municipal Hospital in Rabka‑Zdrój received more than 870,000 zł from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to purchase modern cardiology and internal‑medicine equipment. The devices enable faster diagnoses, more precise health assessments and improved monitoring of treatment outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.

In Rybnik, the former Juliusz Hospital is being transformed into a modern cultural venue and the Emil Drobny Museum. The renovation, costing over 17.5 million zł, is financed largely by an EU grant of about 15 million zł. Work includes new masonry, façade cleaning and interior refurbishment, with completion expected in mid‑2028.
