Poland General Staff Chief visits Turkish defense industry
General Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the Polish General Staff, conducted a visit to Turkey to inspect advanced defense technologies and explore cooperation to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank. During the visit, the Polish delegation toured facilities belonging to ROKETSAN, TUSAŞ, and ASELSAN.
At ROKETSAN, the delegation examined the TAYFUN short-range ballistic missile system, alongside TRG and TRLG guided rocket families. The delegation also reviewed air defense solutions, including the ALKA laser-based system, PUSU anti-UAV solutions, and the SUNGUR mobile air defense system.
At TUSAŞ, the Polish representatives were briefed on manned and unmanned aerial platforms, specifically the HÜRKUŞ and HÜRJET aircraft, as well as the ANKA III unmanned aerial vehicle. The visit aimed to support the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces by identifying modern technologies to enhance long-range precision strike and air defense capabilities in response to regional security requirements.
