Poland's ZUS to distribute 14th pension bonus in September 2026

The Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has scheduled the disbursement of the 14th pension bonus for September 25, 2026. This additional payment is intended for eligible retirees and disability beneficiaries and will be distributed automatically alongside regular monthly pension payments.

The full gross amount of the 14th pension is set at 1,978.49 zł. Beneficiaries whose primary monthly pension does not exceed 2,900 zł gross are eligible for the full amount. For those exceeding this threshold, a “złotówka za złotówkę” (zloty-for-zloty) reduction mechanism applies, decreasing the bonus by the amount that the pension exceeds the limit. If the calculated bonus falls below 50 zł gross, no payment is made.

In addition to the September disbursements, individuals receiving pre-retirement benefits are scheduled to receive their 14th pension on October 1, 2026. The bonus is subject to standard income tax and health insurance deductions but remains exempt from bailiff enforcement.
