Poland hosts community workshops on first aid and emergency response
Various community initiatives in Poland are providing free training to help citizens respond to life-threatening emergencies and security threats.
In Warsaw, the Warsaw-East District Branch of the Polish Red Cross, in collaboration with the 18th Territorial Defence Brigade, organized first aid workshops across five locations. Participants engaged in practical exercises, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using professional mannequins and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). The sessions focused on recognizing health threats, responding to unconsciousness, and managing injuries.
In Gniezno, the Gniezno County has announced free training sessions scheduled for September 16 and 17 at the III High School. These workshops aim to teach residents how to recognize alarm signals, provide first aid, and follow proper evacuation procedures during emergencies.
