Poland hosts dual youth political summits in Olsztyn and Jurata
Two separate youth-oriented political gatherings took place in Poland over the same weekend. The fifth edition of Campus Polska Przyszłości was held at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Initiated by Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski and organized by the Campus Polska Foundation, the four-day event featured prominent figures including Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty, and various ministers. The event aimed to foster discussion on economy, ecology, security, and the rule of law among active young people.
Simultaneously, President Karol Nawrocki hosted a meeting titled ‘Przyszłość.pl’ at his summer residence in Jurata. This event focused on debates and sports activities for youth aged 18 to 26. While the Campus Polska event in Olsztyn allowed for broad media access and live broadcasts, the Jurata gathering faced criticism regarding limited journalist access. The concurrent nature of these events highlighted the differing approaches to youth engagement between the two political camps.
