Poland Hosts European Beach Volleyball Championships, Olympic Qualifier

The inaugural European Beach Volleyball Championships are being staged in Stare Jabłonki, Poland. The tournament doubles as a direct qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, with the gold‑medal team earning an early berth.

Organisers have highlighted the high competitive level, noting that all European nations will aim to secure the coveted Olympic spot. Some participants, such as Anders Mol, are dealing with injury concerns, while others like Michał Bryla and Bartosz Łosiak are returning from recent setbacks. The qualification deadline for the Los Angeles Games will be set in February, giving successful teams several months to prepare ahead of the Olympics.
