Poland hosts health sector conferences in Warsaw and Poznań
On May 7‑8 2026, the University of Warsaw Faculty of Health Sciences will hold a two‑day workshop titled “How can we bring about radical reform in primary and community care?” organized by the European Health Policy Group. The programme will address long‑term primary‑care reforms, digital transformation, capitation systems, inter‑sectoral cooperation and employment optimisation. Piotr Włodarczyk, director of the Department of Analysis and Data Warehouse of the e‑Health Centre, will present on Poland’s digital health experience.
On April 25 2026, the Wielkopolska Regional Pharmacy Chamber hosted its II Conference at the Mercure Hotel in Poznań. About 170 pharmacists and over 30 guests, including doctors and partners, attended. The event’s theme, “collaboration on the doctor‑pharmacist line,” featured talks on pharmacists’ role in vaccinations, new treatments for obesity and diabetes, pain‑relief medicines, wound‑care practices, and interdisciplinary workshops. Opening remarks were given by Prof. Anna Jelińska, with contributions from several university deans and professional leaders.
