Poland hosts local cycling rallies and opens new bike path
On July 19 a bike rally traversed the Brzozowica‑Rajczywiec‑Harenda‑Hammerwiza route in the Czarnków‑Trzcianka district, showcasing natural monuments such as a 12‑metre‑circumference jawor tree and promoting active tourism.
From July 22 the town of Pospólnie celebrated the official opening of a new road and a pedestrian‑bike trail, linking it to the municipal cycling network. Participants delivered about 200 kg of pet food to a local animal shelter, with the project funded largely by EU regional funds.
On July 25 the historic Rajd Polski returned to Jastrzębie‑Zdrój after a 21‑year hiatus, prompting extensive road closures and temporary changes to bus schedules across the city to accommodate the event.
