Poland hosts major amateur cycling events in Bydgoszcz and Zakopane this June
More than a hundred cyclists departed from Bydgoszcz’s town hall for a 40‑kilometre ride to Lubostronie, part of the Cup of the Cycling Capital of Poland. The event, organised by Bydgoszcz’s promotion office, is the longest rally in the eight‑edition competition that involves 250 municipalities and runs through June.
The second edition of L’Étape Poland will take place in Zakopane from 13 June, offering 107‑km and 51‑km routes that finish on the Gubałówka hill. The amateur race, inspired by the Tour de France, will feature well‑known athletes such as Maja Włoszczowska, Zdeněk Štybar, Tomasz Marczyński, Marek Hamšík and Anna Lafourte, highlighting the event’s international profile.
