Poland hosts major military demonstrations to showcase defense capabilities

Poland is hosting major military demonstrations and focusing on defense production to strengthen deterrence against Russia. At the Nowa Dęba training ground, representatives from over 20 countries, including delegations from South Korea, Armenia, and the Persian Gulf, attended dynamic displays of military hardware. The event, organized by the Ministry of National Defence, serves as a promotional precursor to the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce.

During the demonstrations, Polish forces showcased equipment such as Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles, Krab howitzers, Rak mortars, and Piorun anti-aircraft sets, alongside American Apache helicopters. Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated the goal is to demonstrate how modern equipment is operated by Polish soldiers to support future sales.

Experts emphasize that effective deterrence relies on both strategic planning and the capacity for mass production of air defense, anti-missile, and other critical systems. Military analyst Andrzej Kiński noted that contracts under the SAFE framework provide the necessary financial stability and long-term perspectives to ensure production lines for ammunition, fuel, and equipment can continue to grow.
