Poland hosts major youth sporting events in Suwałki and Lubin

Suwałki will host the XXXIV National Salesian Youth Games from September 17 to 19, 2026. Approximately 700 young athletes from 16 associations and 60 teams will compete in various disciplines, including basketball, football, volleyball, mini-volleyball, and table tennis. The competitions will take place at municipal facilities such as the Suwałki Arena, the OSiR hall, and the Municipal Stadium, featuring four different age categories.

Lubin is set to host the U16 Polish Athletics Championships, also known as the Small Kusociński Memorial, on September 19 and 20. Around 1,200 athletes from across the country will compete in nearly 40 events at the Regional Sports Center stadium. The event, organized by the Polish Athletics Association and local partners, marks the return of these championships to Lower Silesia after 40 years. Public admission to the athletics events is free.
