GZM Night of Theatres festival to feature 27 plays
The 16th edition of Noc Teatrów GZM (Night of Theatres) is scheduled for September 12. Organized by the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis, the event features 27 performances across 15 different theatres.
In addition to the main plays, the festival includes 50 supplementary activities such as workshops, exhibitions, and guided tours of normally inaccessible theatrical spaces. To facilitate movement between venues, Transport GZM will provide free travel via buses, trams, and trolleybuses.
Notable highlights include the Opera Śląska in Bytom, which will inaugurate its new season with two one-act plays, ‘Scheherezade’ and ‘Hunger’. Other participating venues include Teatr Mały in Tychy, featuring the production ‘Unexpected Return’.
