Poland Hosts National First‑Aid Competition and Rzekuń Officials Finish Training

The nationwide Qualified First Aid and Medical Rescue Championships will be held on 10–11 July 2026 in Słupca County, bringing together rescue teams from across Poland. Organized with the ERLAB Konin Education Laboratory, the event includes an inaugural lecture, category‑specific workshops and a 24‑hour series of rescue scenarios staged at multiple locations, with public viewing and awards for the top teams.

In June, fourteen employees of the Rzekuń municipal office and its social services and maintenance departments completed a professional Qualified First Aid course. After passing exams they received rescuer certificates, having practiced CPR, AED use, bleeding control and trauma care in realistic simulations. The training, costing about 20 000 zł, was funded partly by a 9 976 zł grant from the Mazovian Voivodeship’s Civil Protection Programme and the remainder from the municipal budget.
