Poland hosts sports and health initiatives for runners and children

Various sports and health initiatives are taking place in Poland, focusing on both professional training and youth education.

The PKO Running 360 Degrees conference is being held at the Central Sports Center in Zakopane. The program covers training theory, nutrition, health, and psychology, with a focus on injury prevention and long-term athletic development. Discussions include comparing training schools in Kenya, Norway, and the USA to help runners achieve longevity and performance.

Additionally, the Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik Foundation is launching the ‘Treat Yourself Exceptionally – Live Actively and Healthily’ workshop series. Led by Olympic champion Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik, the project targets primary school students across five towns in the West Pomeranian, Pomeranian, and Lubusz voivodeships. The workshops combine discussions on motivation and healthy habits with practical athletics training, including running, jumping, and throwing.
